Personal Statement
I am an expert in mechanics with over twenty years of experience, specializing in fluid-structure interactions, metamaterials, and circular economy. My research focuses on developing innovative solutions for vibration control in structural systems, particularly in pipelines conveying fluid, and sustainable construction materials derived from agricultural waste. With a strong commitment to addressing critical infrastructure challenges and promoting environmental sustainability, I continually seek to bridge theoretical research with practical applications that impact real-world engineering problems.
My work in acoustic metamaterials has led to significant advancements in low-frequency noise control, while my research on supplementary cementitious materials contributes to reducing the carbon footprint of the construction industry. Through collaborative, interdisciplinary approaches, I aim to translate my research into scalable innovations that enhance infrastructure resilience, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability globally.
